STANBIC IBTC WINS AWARD AS CARD PAYMENT BANK OF 2016

Stanbic IBTC Bank’s payment cards have been adjudged the best in the country in 2016, in recognition of its leadership in the provision of card payment solutions in the financial services industry. The bank won the 2016 Card Payment Bank of the Year award at the 2016 Nigeria Telecoms Awards, which held recently in Lagos.

 

The Nigeria Telecoms Awards, in its 12th year, celebrates excellence, innovativeness and leadership in the telecommunications and technology industries and affiliates., according to the organizers, some of the criteria for selection include measurement of the acceptance levels of card products and overall brand presence, volume and value of transactions on the card platforms over the period in assessment and transactional and marketing attraction to achieve repeat purchase, among others.

 

“We are delighted to be adjudged the Card Payment Bank of the Year. We work very hard to ensure we provide card solutions that meet the payment needs of all our customers We realize the need for convenience in making payments must be matched by security, affordability and reliability and through innovation, we are able to provide solutions that meet and exceed our customers’ expectations,” Executive Director, Personal and Business Banking, Babatunde Macaulay, stated.

 

According to Macaulay, the award will spur the bank in providing more robust payment solutions to meet customers’ needs. “This award will spur us to provide excellent card, as well as other payment solutions that will meet the growing needs for seamless payment and collections by our personal and business customers,” Macaulay added.
